Life awaits.

There is always another day. Another time. Another moment. Until there is not.

I sat in a discussion group awhile back where we talked about how easy it is to put the hard things, the necessary things, the things we know we need to do aside simply because we are great at finding excuses.

We often create a mental playlist of justifications that allow us to procrastinate on what truly matters. When is the last time you told yourself you will start being a little healthier next month because you don’t have time to start now? It’s all too easy to rationalize our choices. Ooops, but you found time for a movie, didn’t you?

Perhaps you even binge-watched an entire series, convincing yourself that you deserved it after a long week. This illustrates the tendency to prioritize fleeting pleasures over long-term fulfillment.

The only time to start is now because results begin by you starting, and every moment you delay is a moment of potential wasted. Besides you will feel so much better binge-watching a series after a good meal or a moment of self-care.

Life is too short to wait for the perfect time—embracing the present is the first step towards your goals.
