Muscle Pain or Tight Fascia?

Fascia is a thin casing of connective tissue that surrounds and holds every organ, blood vessel, bone, nerve fiber, and muscle in place. This tissue not only provides internal structure but the fascia has nerves that make it quite sensitive. Hence why it tightens up under stress.

Lifestyle factors such as limited physical activity or little daily movement, repetitive movements, or even trauma may cause the fascia to tighten and possibly weaken over time.

Determining if your pain is caused by muscle or fascia sometimes is a little difficult. But necessary to discover the answers so the issue can be solved and not repeated.
