In a World full of information sometimes we become overloaded.
Today, I wish to share with you some specific movements and their unique benefits.
Forward bends are calming and relaxing. Great to do just before bed or after you finish a stressful day.
Backbends are energizing. Do you ever get up in the morning and feel like lengthening your spine? Back bends are Mother Natures version of coffee. They wake you up.
Spinal twists are cleansing. They help our liver flush out toxins while giving our other organs a little massage to get them moving. Twists are great anytime of the day as they also stimulate digestion.
Feeling a little constipated some days? Add 10 minutes of gentle stretching that includes twists, backbends and forward bends to stimulate the bowels and keep the flow going.
